Bus accident mobilises emergency services in Cabo Ledo
Reports point to an accident that occurred on the morning of this Sunday, 9 August, in the Cabo Ledo region. Authorities are said to have mobilised resources for the rescue and evacuation of those affected.

Among the bodies said to be involved are entities linked to the Health, Defence and Interior sectors, including air support for the rescue operations.
The same reports indicate that some of the injured have been evacuated to reference hospital units in Luanda, including the Pedro Maria Tonha "Pedalé" Hospital Complex, where they are said to be receiving medical assistance.

Cabo Ledo already recorded a serious accident this year
This accident occurs months after another serious incident recorded in the Cabo Ledo region in March this year, which also involved a bus.
On that occasion, the accident resulted in fatalities and dozens of injured, and led the Ministry of Health to mobilise hospital assistance in Luanda to treat the victims.
The authorities are now expected to clarify the number of victims and the circumstances of the new accident, as rescue and assistance operations for those affected continue.
