Artificial intelligence becomes increasingly personal
Artificial intelligence is no longer just a tool found in computers and smartphones — it is directly integrating into people's daily lives. CES 2026 showcased devices designed to monitor health, boost productivity, and offer highly personalized experiences.
Among the highlights were smart mirrors capable of analyzing a user's face to estimate their physiological age and identify possible health-related indicators. While they don't replace medical exams, these devices use advanced algorithms to turn visual information into useful data for wellness tracking.
Another major launch was earbuds equipped with neural sensors capable of monitoring mental fatigue, concentration, and brain activity in real time. According to manufacturers, these devices could help students, professionals, and athletes better understand their cognitive performance and optimize periods of higher productivity.
Devices designed for automatic logging of daily life were also presented. These devices store conversations, appointments, images, and daily events, functioning as a permanent digital memory. Despite the convenience, the technology also raises debates about privacy, data security, and personal data protection.
Virtual assistants evolve into digital companions
Artificial intelligence also gained new forms of interaction.
Razer presented holographic assistants equipped with generative AI, cameras, and microphones capable of accompanying the user while using the computer, offering real-time recommendations and adapting their behavior to each person's profile.
In the corporate environment, companies demonstrated platforms trained on emails, documents, and meetings to represent employees in training, internal support, and administrative processes. This development could increase productivity and automate various repetitive tasks within organizations.
Technology brings health, beauty, and wellness closer together
The integration of technology and health was one of the main trends observed at the show.
L'Oréal presented a smart facial mask equipped with red and infrared LEDs for skin treatment. The device uses light therapy to stimulate cell regeneration and improve skin appearance, demonstrating how electronic devices are now becoming part of the beauty and personal care sector.
Other manufacturers presented sensors capable of monitoring physiological signals without direct contact with the body, allowing continuous, non-invasive tracking of health indicators.
Humanoid robots leave the labs
While in previous years humanoid robots were presented only as technology demos, at CES 2026 they emerged as products ready to operate in factories, hospitals, homes, and public spaces. Several manufacturers announced commercial contracts, production schedules, and delivery start dates for the coming months.
The biggest highlight was the new Atlas, from Boston Dynamics. The electric version of the robot has 56 degrees of freedom, a reach of over two meters, and the ability to lift up to 50 kilograms. Integrated with the Gemini Robotics system, developed by Google DeepMind, Atlas can interpret complex environments and perform industrial tasks autonomously. The first units will be used at Hyundai's factory in the United States.
China's Unitree presented the G1, H2, and R1 models, developed for different industrial applications. The company also reinforced the "robot as a service" concept, in which customers pay for tasks to be performed rather than buying the equipment.
For the home, LG unveiled the Claude robot, equipped with artificial intelligence, computer vision, and natural language processing. The device is capable of folding laundry, organizing household items, operating appliances, and assisting with food preparation. Instead of legs, it uses wheels to increase stability and efficiency while moving.
Agibot presented the A2 series, designed for customer service, reception, and hospitality. Neura Robotics unveiled the 4NE-1, a humanoid robot capable of lifting up to 100 kilograms, equipped with tactile sensors and AI to understand its environment and adapt its behavior to the tasks performed.
SwitchBot also drew attention with its H1 home robot, equipped with articulated arms and a local perception system that eliminates the need for cloud processing. During demonstrations, the device picked up clothes, cleaned surfaces, and organized objects, showing that functionality can matter more than a humanoid appearance.
Engine AI unveiled the T800 industrial robot, equipped with the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform. The device stood out for its strength, balance, and precision in heavy industrial operations.
Furer Robotics presented the GR3 humanoid, developed to work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and elderly care facilities, prioritizing social interaction and person recognition.
In the companion robot segment, Realbotics unveiled new models capable of recognizing emotions, adapting behavior to the user, and allowing customization of appearance, voice, and personality — moving closer to the concept of intelligent digital companions.
Solar energy becomes smarter
CES 2026 also showed that solar energy is evolving rapidly.
Jackery presented the Solar Mars Bot, a robot equipped with retractable solar panels that automatically moves to find the best sunlight exposure throughout the day.
Gazebo Solar unveiled structures equipped with movable photovoltaic blades capable of tracking the sun's position and generating up to 10 kilowatts of energy per day.
Blue Devices presented smart windows capable of producing electricity and automatically controlling light entry using liquid nanoparticles, turning building facades into small power-generating stations.
Beelight Innovations demonstrated ultra-thin, rollable solar panels, just over 0.1 millimeters thick, which can be integrated into architecture, IoT devices, and portable equipment, while maintaining efficiency above 18%.
Dracula Technologies presented organic photovoltaic cells capable of generating energy using only artificial indoor lighting, allowing them to power low-consumption sensors and electronic devices.
Solarge unveiled flexible solar modules integrated directly into electric vehicle bodies, capable of adding up to 24 kilometers of daily range through passive solar capture.
With sustainability in mind, SolarBoard presented a mobile solar panel recycling system mounted on a truck, allowing materials to be recovered directly at photovoltaic plants.
Lens Technology presented ultra-thin glass for satellite solar panels, resistant to extreme space conditions and designed to increase the durability of future space missions.
Small innovations also surprised
Beyond the major trends, CES 2026 featured various devices designed to solve everyday problems.
The Lollipop Star, from Lavatec Brands, uses bone conduction to transmit music directly to the inner ear through jaw vibrations, eliminating the need for conventional headphones.
The Roborock Sirius Rover became one of the most talked-about home robots at the show, able to climb and descend stairs autonomously thanks to articulated legs, significantly expanding the range of smart vacuums.
In the kitchen, the C200 ultrasonic knife drew attention by using vibrations of over 40,000 oscillations per second to reduce blade friction, delivering more precise cuts and requiring less physical effort — especially useful for the elderly or people with limited mobility.
Honor presented an innovative smartphone concept equipped with a robotic arm integrated into the camera. The system combines artificial intelligence, mechanical stabilization, and multiple sensors to automatically move the camera during photos, recordings, and live broadcasts.
Another highlight was the Senso Vital, from Dawn Health, a device that uses millimeter-wave sensors to monitor breathing, heart rate, posture, and stress levels without direct skin contact, offering continuous, comfortable, and discreet health monitoring.
